The Festival du nouveau cinéma's mission is to offer audiences in all their diversity, including young audiences, genuine immersion through a unique experience that goes beyond simply watching a film. The Festival is above all a catalyst for meetings, a space to develop discussions and a certain critical outlook toward local and international issues.
For several years, the FNC has been developing mediation and awareness-raising activities for the student public and young audiences, as well as targeted audiences by the programming (communities, associations, clubs, committees…).

These educational activities can be animated by film directors and professionals in order to widen cinema industry exploration by sharing experiences and knowledge.
