Our online program will be available only in Canada, with the exception of the Wapikoni mobile program, which can be watched from anywhere.
The number of tickets available for each film is comparable to the normal seating capacity of an in-theatre screening. As agreed with the filmmakers and distributors, this limit will allow the films to live on and be screened or aired nationally and internationally.
Once you’ve created an account and made your purchase on the online.nouveaucinema.ca platform, the film or program in question is automatically added to your library, which you’ll find under “My library” in the drop-down menu (top right beneath your username).
There are two more ways to access films you purchase:
All films (barring exceptions*) will be available for viewing from noon on October 7. From the date you purchase a ticket, you have until November 1st at 11:59 pm EDT to view it. Ticket purchase closes October 31 at 11:59 p.m. (EDT).
Once you start playing a film, you will have 30 hours to finish watching it.
You’ll be able to watch the films on your television by using an HDMI cable to connect it to your computer.
Subtitling is specific to each film and, where available, will be mentioned in our catalogue, on our website and on the online.nouveaucinema.ca platform.
