Cancellation of Our Physical Events

Following the Quebec Government's decision to close Montreal's cinemas and theatres from October 1 to 28, 2020, the FNC team is forced to cancel its physical appointments initially scheduled at the Imperial Cinema and Place des Festivals from October 7 to 18. The desire to offer a pleasant and safe experience to festival-goers has guided all the team's actions and will continue to do so. Rest assured, the 49th edition of the Festival du nouveau cinéma will take place, with almost all of the programming available online from October 7 to 31 across Canada. We hope that our passionately selected films will keep you company throughout the month of October, in the comfort of your living room. Join us this Thursday at 10am for the full launch of the online programming!

Festival attendees who have already purchased tickets for our physical events will be contacted shortly for the procedure to follow.
